I have just returned from the “Mind Games” seminar, run by Dr Steve Peters, at Wortley Hall nr Sheffield. Had a fantastic weekend, along with 75 other participants and was very highly impressed with Steve, his ideas, presentation and methods. I can see why British cycling has really benefited from his expertise. A consultant psychiatrist and former forensic psychiatrist he brings an unusual mix of skills to the sporting arena. I will certainly be applying much that I have learned over the coming few months. Worth every penny and minute I invested in going.
